1. Acoustic performance

How is the acoustic performance of Blabla-Cube booths measured and certified?

The acoustic performance of Blabla-Cube booths is measured by independent acoustic laboratories, according to standardised protocols recognised by the industry. Results are expressed in decibels of reduction (dB). Models are evaluated under real-world conditions to reflect the performance you will actually experience in an open-plan office. The higher the figure, the more effectively the booth provides sound insulation. Blabla-Cube publishes its results transparently so you can objectively compare performance between models and between brands.

2. Air quality and ventilation

Air quality measurements for Blabla-Cube booths were carried out by the independent firm Air Conseil, a specialist in indoor air quality audits. 3. Fire safety

Are Blabla-Cube booths compliant with fire safety regulations?

Yes. Blabla-Cube acoustic booths incorporate materials certified for fire safety by the FCBA, a laboratory accredited by the French Ministry of the Interior. The Egger panels used hold an M2 fire rating, the Gabriel Chili fabric meets the fire safety standards applicable to professional furniture, and the Recticel polyurethane foam complies with the BS 5852 standard (FCBA certificate No. UK-20-001).

The Egger panels used in Blabla-Cube booths are classified M2 (low flammability) in accordance with the French order of 21 November 2002 on fire reaction. This rating applies to decorative elements, partitions, furniture and seating. The other materials (Gabriel Chili fabric, Recticel foam) also meet the fire safety standards applicable to professional furniture.

4. Eco-design

According to the life cycle analysis carried out by Eco Impact (ADEME Base IMPACTS framework), a Blabla-Cube Solo Standard booth represents a carbon footprint of 534 kg CO2 equivalent over its entire lifespan. This impact is reduced by -55% compared with the median product in the category, thanks to 100% French manufacturing, a low-carbon energy mix and the integration of 44% recycled materials. Blabla-Cube booths are designed to last and benefit from upgrade kits that extend their lifespan, which is the most effective lever to reduce environmental impact.

The wood used in Blabla-Cube booths comes from sustainably managed forests, via suppliers certified PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). Our panel supplier Egger holds a PEFC chain-of-custody certification, ensuring full wood traceability throughout the production chain, from forest to panels delivered to our workshop.

Blabla-Cube booths hold several environmental certifications: Éco Impact score A (label based on the ADEME methodology), OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on textiles (free from harmful substances), and Origine France Garantie covering all manufacturing. Wood materials come from PEFC-certified suppliers, ensuring forest traceability. Blabla-Cube has also been assessed by EcoVadis since 2026, demonstrating its overall CSR commitment (environment, social, ethics, responsible procurement).

5. French manufacturing

Is the Origine France Garantie certification of Blabla-Cube booths valid?

Yes. Blabla-Cube booths, manufactured by Structa Industries (Beaumont-lès-Valence, Drôme, France), hold the Origine France Garantie certification issued by the FCBA institute. Initially certified on 08/09/2021 and renewed on 08/09/2025, this certification is valid until 07/09/2029.

The Origine France Garantie certification of Blabla-Cube booths is issued by the FCBA Technological Institute (Forest, Pulp, Wood Construction and Furniture), an accredited independent certifying body. The standard requires that at least 50% of the unit cost price is acquired in France and that the product’s essential characteristics are acquired in France. Blabla-Cube booths are well above this minimum threshold, with 100% French manufacturing in the Beaumont-lès-Valence workshop.

9. Assembly and installation

Who carries out the on-site assembly of Blabla-Cube booths?

Assembly of Blabla-Cube acoustic booths is carried out by approved installers and specialised Blabla-Cube fitters. This intervention by trained teams ensures installation in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, preserves the measured acoustic performance and maintains the warranty. Assembly is scheduled at booth delivery.

Yes. Blabla-Cube acoustic booths are designed to be dismantled and reconfigured, allowing them to be relocated as offices evolve or in the event of a company move. For minor position adjustments, the booths are fitted with casters for easy repositioning without dismantling. The reversible door also allows the opening direction to be reconfigured to preserve accessibility when the booth is relocated. Full dismantling and reassembly must be carried out by specialised Blabla-Cube teams to preserve acoustic performance and maintain warranty validity.

10. Warranty

What is the warranty period for a Blabla-Cube acoustic booth?

Blabla-Cube acoustic booths come with a dual warranty: 3 years on the structure (cabinet, walls, glazing, door, frame) and 2 years on equipment (ventilation, LED lighting, electrical sockets, integrated furniture, screens). This warranty covers manufacturing defects and compliance with technical specifications. It applies provided installation is carried out by approved Blabla-Cube fitters.

11. After-sales service and commercial response times

How responsive is Blabla-Cube after-sales service in case of an issue?

The Blabla-Cube after-sales service commits to short turnaround times: an acknowledgement of receipt is sent within 24 business hours of reporting, and full resolution takes place within an average of 10 business days. After-sales service is handled directly from our Drôme workshop, ensuring rapid intervention and availability of spare parts.
